The famous Museum of Contemporary Art is located on a hill overlooking the City with fantastic views over the golden sand beach, one of the most popular spots on the island for diving and sunbathing. It is a Museum of Contemporary Art in Madeira, with exhibitions by local and foreign artists, a concert hall and a bar. The building was awarded internationally for its architecture and integration into the landscape.
